A friend of mine highly recommended this movie and I after watching it with low expectations I was pleasantly surprised.
The Conrad Boys is a unique story where the characters know they're gay and struggle with different relationships when the new boy comes in town. There are way too many coming of age dramas and this one felt like a breath of fresh air without any of the cheesy hollywood takes on most gay themed films out there.
Even though the acting wasn't so great, the story was different, moving and for me felt more real and identifiable.
I give it 5.5 stars out of 5, mainly because I'm in love with the hot hot american actor Nick Bartzen. Must go and re-watch!
